The stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. This is why REV'IT! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. Safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. This construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn.
Stretch is always comfortable to wear and ensures that the jeans don’t wrinkle when you get off. These features make the Reed SF jeans your ideal partner on a day that you’re riding, but also when you want to look like you’re not wearing motorcycle gear off your bike.
If you wear your jeans with the cuff rolled up, you gain another safety feature, with 7 inches of 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective tape stitched into the outer seams. So even if you hem these jeans, there should still be plenty of reflectivity left if you roll the cuff up.
The REVIT Reed SF Jeans have been constructed using materials and tailoring techniques specifically designed to provide a high level of protection that motorcycle riding presents. Certified and independently tested to the EN 17092 Standard, published in 2020, the garment has passed extensive abrasion, burst and impact tests to the highest level.
This garment uses a 16 oz. weight of CORDURA® Denim. CORDURA® Denim is used thanks to its enhanced abrasion resistance and toughness over traditional cotton denim fabrics. Helping to keep riders safer on the road.
The REV’IT! Reed SF jeans come included with removable SEESMART™ RV36 knee and RV33 hip armour that is slim, flexible and barely noticeable under the jeans to retain the fashionable look. It offers the same unique molecular structure, allowing the material to transform kinetic energy from an impact into thermal energy.
Visible studs in the SEESMART™ protector are hexagon-shaped and connected by narrow connection bands. This construction enables the protectors to be extremely flexible and remain relatively thin; exactly what a protector designed for clothes that integrate into daily life need to keep from looking like motorcycle gear.
The hexagon shaped studs expand externally under impact, allowing them to absorb energy. This combination of external expansion and the use of SEEFLEX2925 material reduces impact energy, giving the protector its impact absorbing properties.

How To Get Your Measurments
Please Note: We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.
Waist Size: Measure the circumference, around the fullest part of your waist to verify.
Hip Size: Measure the circumference, from pelvic bone to pelvic bone, at the widest part of your hips below the waist.
Inseam: Measure from the highest point of your crotch down to your ankle, along your inner leg.
