The BEST Motorcycle Boots I ever bought!

Wow!!! You know it's not often we get value for money - when we pay that much more and we get brilliance - when we don't mind the extra cost for top design, comfort and quality.
These boots exudes all of the above. When you put these boots on, you get that feel good feeling big time.
Quality real leather, a fit that molds the foot, comfortable and lined perfectly. Not stiff to wear, but soft and subtle. My highest satisfaction is worth the price of these boots. They are just beautifully made and fit perfectly. Thank you.

Just what I was seeking...

These boots tick all the boxes for what I was seeking in protection! There are ankle protectors on both the inside and the outside of each boot, which I was surprised about considering the inside supper, but they manage this inconspicuously. There seems to be some kind of memory foam padding each ankle protector; you don't feel them while wearing these boots.

The boots are easy to get on and off without undoing the laces, the zipper is all you need, which I've seen isn't necessarily the case for reviews of other boots of this kind with a side zipper. Having a pull-loop at the rear of each boot certainly helps, and other boots such as the TCX Hero and Gearne G-Stone don't seem to have this feature. There's also a velcro cover that hides the zipper pull when pulled up.

After speaking to my local cobbler, they believe that while the sole appears glued because there's a midsole between the leather upper and the outsole that this should mean the outsole is replaceable.

There appears to be stitching around the sole, but when you look closely it appears to be imitation stitching. I'm not certain of this, it could just be nylon stitching, but in either case, I'm not worried as this seems to be the case with the TCX Hero too, and regardless these boots are really well built, so I can't see them wearing out quickly.

I ordered over the web and sized according to my foot measurement plus 2 cm, as was the suggestion by Forma. This suggested a Euro 45 / US 11 would be suitable. I'm usually a 10.5 US in Nikes. While this size fits, and I wouldn't return them to downsize, because they have a wide toe-box they have more room than most of my shoes. This is a nice change, but something to which I'll need to adjust. The insole is pretty thin, better than Doc Martens, but could be softer so I will be getting better insoles. Right out of the box these boots are otherwise really comfortable.

One of the main reasons I purchased these boots was for their waterproof lining. This doesn't disappoint. While I've not been riding in a storm as yet, unlike many other boots of this kind, the lining goes all the way to the top of the boot, except for perhaps the last 1.5 cm. Compare this to the StyleMartin Rocket Boots, and you'll see why the Forma Legacy is a far better choice if you wish to keep your feet dry.

Otherwise, the toe and heel reinforcement is solid, yet inconspicuous, and the shifter protection ample.

I purchased the black version of these boots and would say they easily pass for office use. What I love about the style of the black version is that are completely muted all around, apart from a grey reflective strip on the back of each boot. This gives them an understated style that I really appreciate. The only branding on the outside of the boots is on the outside ankle protector of each boot, and this is simply a Forma logo embossed into the leather. This is subtle, and not at all visible when wearing jeans or other long pants.

All-in-all, good job Forma! The Legacy is a great boot. I will update this review in the future if any of my thoughts change.
